Harmonic is proud to be working will a fast-growth disruptive protein bar startup that is looking to expand its supply chain team with brining on a supply chain manager.
The heath conscious consumer market is growing as people are caring more about what they put in their bodies. This protein bar is plant based, gluten free and low sugar perfect for a daily snack. Founded in 2019, this startup has invested in growing their brand to be in many supermarkets including the big 4 (Sainsbury's, Tesco, Morrisons and Asda) and many other smaller retailers. With the products expanding into the USA and Europe - this brand is looking to expand its team.
This business offices are based in a popular London town and focuses its ethos on being non corporate, sustainable, fun with a value led culture.
The Role:
This is a massive opportunity to work with a company looking to scale dramatically in the next few years. This Supply Chain Manager role will report directly into the Director of Operations. This is a team of 10 and will have a supply chain analyst working underneath yourself.
Duties:
- Develop and implement new strategic plans to improve efficiency.
- Work with all suppliers to maintain and create new and good relationships.
- Oversee the day-to-day supply chains operations.
- Work cross functionally with the procurement team.
- Develop performance plans along with KPI's.
- Responsible for end-to-end supply chain management.
- Exposure to work with the founders directly.
- Work cross functionally with the other parts of the company to track metrics.
- Manage and oversee the imports/ exports of all materials and goods.
- Manage all communication with distributors to ensure orders are received.
- Build for the future and identify new opportunities within the operations system.
Essential Experience (what our client would like to see):
- 3 + years of experience in operations/supply chain management
- Experience in FMCG operations
- Deep knowledge of supply chain structure
- Team player mentality
- Analytical with strong excel skills and data driven.
- Experience in dealing with top 4 supermarket chains (Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons)
Non-Essential Experience (What we would like to see):
- Startup experience.
- Experience in building out processes and systems.
- Experience in FMGC/F&B/Retail/Consumer Goods.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus
