Social Media & Content Executive - Start-Up Beauty Business - Central London

The Client

Harmonic are excited to be working with a rapidly growing sustainable beauty start-up based in central London. The company have a strong brand and a non-corporate and sociable working environment, founded by an incredibly successful individual with an excellent track record of growing and scaling international organisations. They are looking for a social media & content professional who is keen to get stuck in with a number of exciting projects to help scale the organisation. Brand is incredibly important to this company and sits at the forefront of the organisation, therefore you will be supported by a strong marketing team but will also have a lot of autonomy to make the role your own. There is room to grow and progress longer term, with junior team members looking to be part of the senior management team within a number of years.

The role:

• Responsible for all social media channels and content creation for these channels, including copywriting, scheduling posts, and managing the follower community
• Develop social media strategy and implement new processes to increase brand engagement
• Adapt social media posts (in terms of tone and language used) based on the audience of the brand
• Coordinate social media posts with other teams to ensure consistency
• Work with content creators to increase brand awareness
• Monitor user-generated content to use within features and social media posts
• Roll out new social media platforms that would benefit the brand
• Increase overall brand engagement and following to ensure community growth
• Spend time researching trends on social media to implement new strategies for the brand
• Regular analysis of socials to present to management
• Support with ad hoc admin tasks for the wider team
• Attend events (occasionally evening/ weekend) to capture content

Required Experience:

• Extensive experience & knowledge of social media platforms OR a degree in marketing/ social media
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Strong copywriting skills
• Experience creating content for social media channels, including photography & videography
• Proactive
• Strong attention to detail

Non-essential experience:

• Experience using social media management platforms such as Hootsuite

• Previous experience in the beauty or fashion industry

  Salary: £28,000-32,000
