SEO and Content Manager | Music Tech Start Up | Manchester

Harmonic are super excited to be supporting one of the UKs coolest music tech start-ups on their search for a SEO and Content Manager. The company work alongside some major names on the music scene, delivering creative content for fans around the world. With huge growth plans, the team are seeking a talented SEO and Content Manager to help fuel this growth and expansion. Boasting a progressive working culture, flexible working hours, and music industry perks, this is the perfect opportunity for an SEO and/or Content specialist looking for their next step within the music industry.

The role and responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly into the Marketing Manager and CEO, you will write and manage all the editorial content, promoting their brand purpose
  • You will analyse and evaluate the SEO landscape, so to identify and execute upon key opportunities to drive meaningful attraction and growth
  • You will strive to make a difference through content - developing high quality content with a purpose. This will include high quality copy across blogs, emails, website, case studies and more
  • You will support with the development of editorial, content and product release calendars
  • You will help implement SEO strategy, and help identify technical site opportunities, prioritising with the development and marketing teams for the best outcomes
  • You will be proactive in recommendations and executions on technical SEO optimisations to drive results (this will include website architecture, link building, and content)
  • You will develop the keyword strategy

What we need to see:

  • Over 3 years experience in writing and SEO
  • Experience with website optimisation tools
  • A data driven thinking style to problem solve, and tie data to key decision making and growth of SEO traffic and content strategy
  • Experience using tools including, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush etc.
  • A knowledge of the latest SEO best practices, algorithm shifts, and the industry, so to provide critical direction on content and website planning
  • An interest in AI marketing technology

Salary and Perks:

  • £30-,000-35,000 (dependent on experience)
