Senior Safety & Security Manager | Fast Growth Music Business | London

Harmonic are super excited to be partnering with one of the UKs fastest growing music businesses on their search for a Senior Operations Manager. The company are leading the way globally on the supply of rehearsal and recording studios for up-and-coming artists. With plans to double the number of studios by the end of the next year, the business are looking for a Senior Safety and Security Manager to lead the security strategy during this exciting period of growth. In the role you will be responsible for managing all aspects of physical safety and security across the sites globally so to ensure there is a safe and secure environment for their staff, customers and contractors.

Role and responsibilities:

· Reporting into the VP Rollout and Operations, you will work closely with the CX, Operations and Facilities Management teams

· You will create a studio environment where all customers feel safe and welcome, meeting the legal criteria for all territories

· You will be responsible for developing the Safety and Security strategic agenda, in line with the long-term goals of the business. This will include building your safety and security team

· You will ensure the Executive Team are aligned and engaged with the Security and Safety strategy, raising any risks of incidents, and reporting back on any key metrics or matters

· You will manage and be responsible for appointing all 3rd party support providers to ensure they operate in line with the values and culture of the business

· You will drive behavioural change amongst all stakeholders fo the business so to further embed the Safety and Security culture

· You will keep up to date with any changes in legislation, able to adapt Safety and Security procedures or standards (i.e. to an arising threat, or external incident)

What we need to see (essential):

· Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills, with a notable background in developing and motivating teams

· Multi-location experience

· Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering Safety and Security strategies

· Personable individual, able to build cohesive partnerships and work with all stakeholders across the business

· Strong commercial acumen - able to understand the financial performance and budgeting processes

· Ability to work at pace, under pressure and deliver results

· Open to travel to sites across the UK, and occasionally globally too

· Able to lead by example, driving the correct behaviours and work ethic disciplines

· NEBOSH, NVQ or NCRQ qualified

Salary: £50-65,000

Work: Hybrid (with occasional travel across the UK/ globally)
