Sales Manager | Fast - Growth Health & Wellness Brand | London

Harmonic are delighted to be supporting one of London's most exciting health supplement businesses on the hire of an Sales Manager in response their continued growth over the past 4 years.

Only a couple of years into their journey, the business spotted a gap in the market and is on course for a c.£1M turnover which is double that of the previous year with much more to come. They are already stocked in major UK retailers (Sainsburys, Holland & Barret, WHSmith etc) and are increasingly growing their footprint in the UK and international markets having launched in Europe and Scandinavia.

As well as traditional retail & grocery they also sell via E-commerce channels and are stocked across 1,000 different stores and growing on a weekly basis.

With a brilliant health and wellness-based product, they have also caught the attention of a blue-chip investor who has injected major funding into this business to drive continuous sales and expansion. As the successful candidate you will be going a well-funded scaleup business on delivering the sales pipeline working directly with the Founder to spearhead strategy and ambitious growth.

Our client is based in Central London in stunning architecturally designed co-working space and have a very vibrant and dynamic working culture. The team are very invested in health and wellness and are passionate about their product and journey.

The Role:

Ø Collaborate with Founders & Head of Brand to launch into new suppliers and distributers and really spearhead business development opportunities - building on relations with current suppliers as well as exploring new ones

Ø Manage National Accounts for key contracts with existing customers

Ø Lead development of prospective sales assets and documents

Ø Support with B2B marketing strategies

Ø Collaborate with UK suppliers and partners on existing relationships to mitigate what expansion might look like

Ø Work closely with sales to forecast and analyse pipeline. Work to build out robust plans and relationships stemming from this.

Ø Focused Business Development strategies on targeting key clients - client pitches and sales contract / negotiations.

Ø Collaborate with Supply Chain on Demand planning for future expansion and viability.

Ø Work with Founder to outline and mitigate risk vs reward for new territories.

What our client would like to see:

Ø Experience in an SME within the FMCG space

Ø Confident spoken and written communication style

Ø Entrepreneurial, creative, and resourceful

Ø Commercially savvy and customer focused - the international customer base with vary in terms of culture, nature of business and language so its important that you are flexible and adaptable.

Ø Driven and good with organisation and planning

What we need to see:

Ø Desire to work in a fast- paced environment

Ø Oversight of a bigger business (i.e c. £10m turnover)

Ø Experience in product launches and onboarding new distributors and suppliers

Ø Working with teams who have won new accounts (strong evidence of working with sales/finance or S&OP to deliver results)

Ø Foreign language skills would be advantageous but are not a necessity.

Salary: up to £60k plus bonus

Notice: 3 Months max

Working: Flexible working offered - offices based in Central London.
