The Client:
Harmonic Group are delighted to partner with a rapidly scaling, award winning creative agency's Health & wellness division where you will have the opportunity to shape the growth of the rapidly scaling agency that is already having a huge impact on the world of advertising and marketing.
The Role
Sitting on the senior leadership team, this opportunity calls for an experienced, innovative strategically thinking Operations Director. You must be able to work collaboratively under pressure and make key decisions for the agency, whilst balancing all other aspects of business from budgeting to error analysis to senior management. They are looking for candidates who are skilled in standardising large scale processes whilst creating new efficiencies, and all whilst taking colleagues on the journey!
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintaining the operation of day-to-day agency activities, as well as strategically planning the next moves for the business
- Having direct reports from the project management team from manager to senior directors.
- Implementing strong strategic vison and maintaining up to date business forecasts, with current vs targets, budgeting, and expenses for the business.
- Optimizing processes between the UK & US entities
- Constant evaluation and improvement on operations and financial performance
- Probative agency performance including billings, FTE's, margins, profitability, error analysis and reduction, etc.
- Supporting and working alongside the senior team (Managing Director, Strategy Director, Creative Director) with everything from service gap analysis, client profitability, scope creep and other revenues to maximize etc.
- In collaboration with the wider management team, ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
- In collaboration with the wider management team implement a training program for new employees and skills / capability gaps for targeted training requirements to deliver business and client objectives
- Collaborate to improve working processes between planning and activation.
- Proactively predict issues and nipping them/ effectively handle issues with anything from budgeting to team management.
What we need to see (essential):
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong management and leadership history
- Outstanding operational skills and with the ability to come up with innovative and efficient solutions
- Collaborative skills but with a management stance
- Constant drive for innovation
- Creative agency experience: minimum 5 years
- Minimum 5 years director level experience
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £90,000-£120,000
(additional flex dependent on experience) per annum + commission and bonuses
