Operations Coordinator | High Growth Tech Services Scale-Up | London
We are super excited to be partnering with a professional services IT consultancy to aid them with their search for a Senior Operations Manager. The company offers technology support services for some the UK's most prestigious companies, providing data analysis and digital security management services.
With significant levels of growth over the last couple of years, the company is looking to IPO in the not-too-distant future. The business prides itself on its company culture which is one of inclusion and collaboration. Their approach to working from home allows for people to come into the office as much as they want whilst only being required in once or twice a week.
The leadership team is experienced and has a leadership style of empowerment and trust as they aim to hire people that they can delegate to without micromanaging. They sport flexible working hours and frequent social events are held amongst the team making this not only and exciting but also a fun place to work.
The company is about to embark on a new stage of growth as they have recently IPOed and there is now a significant need for improving processes in key areas of the business.
The role
As Operations Coordinator you will join a dynamic, diverse, and collaborative team with a view to supporting on a broad range of tasks including IT, delivery and systems. You will be involved in a number of change projects across the business as well as supporting with ad-hoc projects in a variety of areas.
Responsibilities:
- Own the weekly timesheet process: working with individuals and delivery leads around the business to ensure timely, accurate submission; providing support, guidance & troubleshooting; and reporting on compliance. Contribute to the evolution of timesheet processes as the company grows.
- Become a Kimble expert: learn how the commercial and delivery management system works to provide first line support around functionality, key forecasting concepts; and user base/ permissions management.
- Manage IT and Information Security processes and incidents: working with the IT supplier as a first point of contact for questions and issues; and running ceremonies and documentation to ensure continued compliance with information security requirements.
- Involvement in a range of other operational priorities: as the company rapidly grows, the Operations Team is involved in a number of projects to professionalise and mature the business - from data reporting and adoption to change management; information security and IT strategy; and a range of other incoming priorities. There'll be opportunities to get involved in a range of workstreams; from planning to execution as the company grows.
What we need to see (Essential):
- Either an ambitious graduate or some experience in an operational role (ideally within the professional services industry)
- Very high written and oral communication and influencing skills, experience working with multiple teams and stakeholders around a business
- Process orientated and curious - interested in how the business and systems / tools work. Able to engage with complex systems
- A highly analytical mindset, and a confidence with numbers
- An agile, ambitious, and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability

What we need to see (Desirable):
- Experience managing timesheets is a plus but not essential
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Experience working with Sales Force and Kimble systems
- ISO27001, 9001 and Cyber Essentials Plus knowledge or certifications beneficial but not essential
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + benefits
Based: London / Manchester / Bristol (and remote)
