Operations Assistant | Fast-Growth Health & Wellness Brand | London
Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively alongside a sustainable plant-based business in their search for an Operations Assistant to join their growing team.
Founded five years ago, our client are experiencing a period of rapid growth and are fast becoming an industry name within their niche. They are leading the way in creating innovative products where health and wellbeing is the primary focus, while maintaining their commitment to climate-friendly practices. They are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and a constant desire to learn more and acquire new skills. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the company run smoothly, while having the ability to take ownership of the purchasing aspect of the function by playing a proactive role in ensuring invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes match.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating international shipments and liaising with courier companies
- Analyse delivery times to identify areas for improvement
- Upload B2B and B2C orders onto internal systems
- Monitor outbound customer orders using ecommerce platforms
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels by handling returns and addressing queries
- Coordinating inventory management (e.g. stock reports)
- Create sales reports and analyse trends
- Partner with merchandising/finance team with purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes
Essential skills:
- 2 years' experience within operations/logistics in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using inventory management software
- Attention to detail and highly organised
- Understanding of courier company operations
- Ability to work both as a team and independently
- Exposure to operations-based data reporting and analysis
- Strong communication skills
Desirable skills:
- Exposure to the retail/FMCG space
- Familiarity with Shopify
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000
Location: London (office based)
