Harmonic is excited to be working with an industry leading company within the UK TV & Film Industry that are recruiting for an Operations Assistant, in a newly created role in line with the growth of the business.

The Company:

Since inception in the early 2000's, this our client have scaled exceptionally with revenues growing year on year and headcount growing to circa 200 employees. Immersed in the production of world class content from films, tv series, music videos and commercial adverts, the business are associated with some of the most well known content created throughout the last 15 years.

The business also have partners that have spent hugely successful careers in the creative space, and as such are in a fantastic position to continue their outward expansion. With new studios being constructed in the north of England and a new HQ also being developed, this really is an awesome time to be involved in the company.

The Role:

The role will reporting into a Head of Operations who has had a hugely successful career in the business, receiving multiple internal promotions since joining. There will also be a great Office Manager that the role will work alongside. Duties will be split between operational duties and also providing assistant to one of the managing partners, so will be varied in terms of responsibilities. it is the perfect opportunity for candidates that are drive, ambitious, determined and have good initiative when it comes to problem solving. Our client is also big on internal training and development, so will be keen to have someone in the team keen to learn and grow in line with the long term promotional opportunities associated with the role.

The Duties:

  • Assisting the managing partner with office duties
  • Liaising with clients and managing / scheduling diaries appropriately
  • Coordinate travel for company events
  • Support Office Manager with various company events throughout the year
  • Provide regular ad hoc support on a range of projects

What we'd like to see (Essential):

  • 12 months experience in an operations focused role
  • Strong outward facing personality and great communication skills
  • Ambitious and driven to succeed

What we'd like to see (Bonus):

  • Previous experience in the TV, Film or Media Industry

    Salary: Up to £30,000
