The Client:
Harmonic Operations are excited to partner with this creative agency in the search for their Midweight Strategist to join their growing strategy team. The agency works with a range of higher education sectors, businesses, universities, charities, as automotive and fintech businesses across the world. They focus on providing differentiation and USP. They are insight led and creative, they focus on creating futures for their clients.
The Role:
You will report to the Head of Insights and Strategy and focus on gathering deep market knowledge and using your statistical thinking and data skills to input to their award-winning creative outputs. This agency is looking for someone with a strong background and passion for strategy. You will support and deliver the strategic client work, including workshops, writing and research. You will have a great eye for detail be able to join dots and distil information into a concise and effective strategy. As they gain new clients, you will have access to research tools to gather insight to turn this into single minded propositions for the team, you will use that insight to craft thought leadership and opinion pieces that help to boost the agency brand.
You will shape creative ideas with the award-winning creative department, writing strategic content and copy writing for creative briefs. You will present your ideas with weight and influence, with the opportunity to create focus groups and client workshops, whereby you can engage with senior stakeholders

This agency is open to Junior Strategists to take on more responsibilities and for Midweight Strategists looking for their next step in an exciting and creative agency.
Responsibilities:
- You will use your understanding of brand building and positioning as well as knowledge of the marketplace to help provide more strategic direction
- Create single minded propositions
- Demonstrate strategic and tactical skills
- Scan marketing and media campaigns to identify trends and approaches
- Campaign planning
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by writing though pieces or attending events
- Communicate your complex ideas verbally and in writing to a high standard
- Produce cohesive and intelligent plans to promote successful campaigns
What We Need to See (Essential):
- Demonstratable strategy experience from agency or client side
- Experience in research and data analytics
- Creative planning skills
- Ability to work on primary research
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to strategically set the direction
- Experience writing single minded propositions,
- An eye for detail
- Ability to apply strategic and creative thinking
- Ability to work tight budgets and timelines
- Copywriting, content and messaging skills
- Team work skills
- Experience working with integrated campaigns
Salary: £35- 50k dependent on experience
