Harmonic is proud to be working on an exclusive basis with a very cool, innovative, and fast-growing plant-based food startup.

The plant-based food market is growing and this company have entered it in a very disruptive manner. With its products being plant-based, high protein and low in sugar and calories, these items have been incredibly popular amongst a new generation of health-conscious consumers. They currently sell their products through different channels so supply stores such as whole Foods, Sprouts and H-E-B as well as via ecommerce (D2C) channels.

Founded in 2019, this startup just closed a Seed round of $2 million but have plans to grow 20x the size they are today. They are backed by some incredible investors and founders and have been featured in Forbes Magazine.

This business is extremely exciting in the sense that it is new, vibrant, pioneering, and non-corporate. The workspace in New York is modern and collaboration, openness and staff wellbeing are some of the main traits the company thrives on.

The Role:

This is a massive opportunity to work with a company looking to scale dramatically in the next few years. This Head of Supply Chain role will report directly into the COO and CEO. This is a small team which is looking to expand in the coming months.

Duties:

• Own the operations function including inventory, supply planning, logistics, warehousing and S&OP.
• Work with all external vendors and maintain good relationships.
• Create the processes which will allow for consistent and reliable production and fulfilment.
• Analyze how to improve vendor relationships and how to engage with them.
• Work with the supply chain to make sure it is risk-free.
• Develop performance plans along with KPI's.
• Work cross functionally with the other parts of the company to track metrics.
• Manage all communication with distributors to ensure orders are received.
• Build for the future and identify new opportunities within the operations system.

Essential Experience:

• 4 + years of experience in operations/supply chain management
• Experience in CPG operations
• Deep knowledge of supply chain structure
• Team player mentality

Non-Essential Experience:

• Startup experience
• Food & Beverage experience

Salary: $160,000- $180,000
