Harmonic are delighted to be exclusively working with a rapidly growing interiors business in their search for a Head of Sales to join their growing team.

Our client is leading the way within their niche, and are the go-to brand for many of the top architectural and design practices. With a commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous growth, they are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales to join their team and drive the business development strategy to new heights. The team pride themselves on collaboration and creativity, and you will be surrounded by some of the industry's brightest designers and commercially astute thinkers within luxury interiors, all of whom are incredibly passionate about the products they sell.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, while achieving great autonomy, you will lead a dynamic sales and business development team and will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand their client base and revenue. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate their team to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and converting sales leads
  • Developing and executing strategies for hitting quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Reporting on industry insights that impact on sales figures
  • Building lasting client relationships and ensuring repeat business
  • Partnering with the commercial team to implement new plans for growth
  • Regularly attending client meetings to ensure requirements and timescales are being met
  • Managing a small but growing team

Essential qualities

  • Over 5 years in a sales/business development role within interiors/construction
  • Insight into working with fit-out, A&D, or D&B companies
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Team management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Genuine interest in, and knowledge of, commercial interiors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable qualities

  • Previous working within a start-up or SME

Location: London

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 (+ £20,000 OTE bonus)
