Head of Operations | Luxury Fashion Brand | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a womenswear brand in their search for a Head of Operations to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to work for a brand making strides in their space, and to have an all-encompassing role, from operations to people and strategy.

Founded 20 years ago, our client have developed a loyal customer base and have become the go-to brand in their niche, aided by both word-of-mouth and fantastic marketing campaigns. Culturally, they always welcome new ideas, from the creatives to the people behind the numbers, and embrace collaboration across the business.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role itself manages external relationships, policy compliance, internal HR needs, while playing an important role in business planning, strategy and converting numbers from the finance team into actions to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities

• Creating strategic plans with the Founder for the business
• Implementing the company's strategic objectives and business plans
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies
• Building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Identifying cost saving and sales maximising opportunities
• Partnering with the finance team to ensure budgetary compliance and P&L monitoring
• Overseeing external HR, including appraisals, professional development and training
• Guiding working culture

Essential criteria

• 5 years experience in leadership roles within operations/strategy/people
• Exposure to a luxury fashion business
• Strong financial and commercial acumen
• Willingness to get "stuck in" to a variety of areas within the business

Desirable criteria

• Blended experience in both operations and people focussed roles

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000

Location: Central London
