Head of BI | Hyper-Growth SaaS Scale-Up (Crypto) | Series C | London/Remote
Harmonic are thrilled to be working on a Retained business with one of the world's most exciting SaaS start-ups in the cryptocurrency space.
Having closed a £45m Series C investment they are forecasting growth of well over 100% annually with ARR reaching £25m in 2022 and £60m in 2023. Already with a global footprint, the company expects headcount to grow from 100 to 300 in two years across their London HQ, the US and Singapore.
Utilising AI and Big Data, they are bringing the cryptocurrency markets into the mainstream using their cutting-edge technology to ensure improved compliance and regulation in the industry. Already partnering with most of the world's fastest growing Fintech's they are increasingly working with established Banks as they invest heavily in entering the crypto markets and with Government agencies and global police forces looking to prevent criminal activity funded by cryptocurrencies.
With an exceptional leadership team, world class Venture Capital investors and some of the brightest and best in the business, they are aiming to achieve 'Unicorn' status shortly before becoming a multi-billion-dollar business. This will include further innovative product launches in the next 12 months and continued international expansion (currently supporting customers in over 40 countries).
The London HQ is in a brand new, beautiful Central London location but with the flexibility of a hybrid working model. The Role
The Head of BI is responsible for building and managing the entire BI function from the ground up. Focusing on delivering real value to the business with insights that drive growth and improved decisions it requires someone who can oversee the outsourced build out of the 'Data Warehouse' and think strategically about how BI should be structured and partner with the wider business.
Ultimately bringing Data to life, the Head of BI will drive a culture of Data. They will play an integral role in communicating and helping the teams by providing insights and information that will assist their day-to-day decision making thus stakeholder management and partnering is key.
Responsibilities:
- Own and Deliver BI for the company implementing tools, processes and leading the team
- Develop a deep understanding of how the business works and the teams within it to scope out tools, information, and insight to enable them to understand their performance and deliver more effectively
- Manage and continuously improve the Data Warehouse, infrastructure and end to end BI processes (currently a 3rd party consultancy is building this)
- Select and implement a new BI tool and ensure the wider business recognizes and understands the value it can add to their performance
Required Experience:
- Experience setting up the BI (Business Intelligence) function (ideally in SaaS, Tech or a Scale-Up)
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- An individual who enjoys being "hands on"
- Love creating information and insights from Data
Bonus Experience:
- Experience in a Tech start-up business
- Experience in SaaS or Fintech
- Passionate about the Cryptocurrency space
Salary: £120,000 - £130,000 + share options
Location: London/ Remote
