Group People Director | Fast Growth Creative Agency | Central London

Harmonic are super excited to be partnering with one of London's most creative up-and-coming marketing agencies on their search for their first Group People Director. Offering a range of different specialist services, the agency works with some of the most exciting names within the entertainment space. As they navigate an exciting period of growth, the team are looking for a values-driven HR professional to join the board of Directors, helping to align the people strategy with the longer-term goals of the business.

As a standalone role, the position will encompass a broad range of duties, though with a predominant focus on company culture and employee experience. Boasting industry perks, a non-corporate environment, and state of the art offices, this is a super exciting opportunity for an HR professional looking for their next step up.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • As the business scales, you will have an important role in improving the recruitment process and building out a talent strategy
  • You will help build out the HR infrastructure, drawing out and implementing new policies and procedures
  • You will sit on the board, providing the team with data-driven insights and reports. This will involve discussions on the people strategy, ensuring it aligns with the longer terms goals of the business
  • You will focus on building on the collaborative and dynamic company culture, ensuring it stays intact and develops as the business grows
  • From L&D programmes to D&I initiatives you will get involved in a range of projects

What we need to see (Essential):

  • At least 6 years in a People Operations role
  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the whole business
  • A passion for scaling business, and a desire to be on such a journey
  • Strong knowledge of HR Systems, ATS Software, and employment laws
  • Talent acquisition experience
  • A generalist, unafraid to get stuck into a variety of tasks as the business scales
  • Experience of direct reports
  • An enthusiasm to work in the creative industries

What we need to see (Desirable):

  • A background in the marketing and/ or tech space
  • Previous standalone experience

Salary: £60,000-80,000 (dependent on experience)
