Finance Assistant | Plant Based Food Business | North London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a fast-growth plant-based food business in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their expanding team.

In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to grow and develop new skills whilst having fantastic guidance from an experienced Finance Manager. The role would suit candidates looking to grow their career working with a business who are well regarded for their culture and non-corporate working culture and who have grown significantly in recent years.

You will be supporting on the accounts payable and accounts receivable function as well as assisting the operations teams with ad hoc responsibilities around stock control. This role would suit a confident and hard-working individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Our client is based in trendy North London offices in a very vibrant area. They regularly go on socials and attend afterwork drinks and events! They currently work 2 days at home and 3 in the office so this would be the expectation for the new coming incumbent.

Responsibilities:

• Support with the accounts payable and accounts receivable function under the mentorship of the Finance Manager
• Approving, processing payments, and sending invoices
• Monitoring the finance inbox for any new queries and escalating tasks accordingly
• Assisting the Finance Manager with various ad hoc tasks and projects around the development of the finance function
• Support the operations team with any ad-hoq duties around stock controls and reconciliations

Requirements:

• At least 6 months experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable function
• Accountancy and Finance degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident and approachable

What we would like to see:

• Experience having worked in a product-based business i.e fashion, retail, ecommerce, food, or beverage
• Passion for the plant-based food space would be beneficial
• Desire to build out experience in a SME

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 + benefits

Location: North London

Start date: ASAP / immediate start preferred
