The Client

Harmonic are excited to retained by a rapid growth LegalTech SaaS start-up who have developed an advanced AI tool which writes, reviews and amends contracts. They are working with a number of top global law firms and major corporations removing hours of back and forth and bureaucracy.

With a successful Series B investment of $60 million, they are poised for rapid growth and are on track to achieve $30 million in ARR by 2025 and $65 million in ARR by 2026. They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join their executive team and drive their revenue growth to new heights and move towards an IPO in the next 3-5 years.

The Role

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for overseeing the revenue generation processes. This role will involve developing and executing the company's sales strategy, scaling the sales team, optimizing go-to-market strategies, and ensuring alignment between marketing, sales, and customer success to maximize revenue growth. The CRO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other members of the executive team to drive the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Revenue Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue generation strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.

  • Identify and prioritize new market opportunities and customer segments.

  • Establish revenue targets and ensure the company meets or exceeds these goals.

  • Sales Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team.

  • Implement best practices in sales processes, methodologies, and performance management.

  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.

  • Go-to-Market Optimization:

  • Optimize the go-to-market strategy to ensure efficient and effective customer acquisition.

  • Collaborate with marketing to align demand generation activities with sales goals.

  • Drive customer success initiatives to maximize customer retention and lifetime value.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the product team to ensure alignment between product offerings and market demands.

  • Partner with finance to develop and manage revenue projections, budgets, and financial models.

  • Collaborate with the executive team to align on overall business strategy and goals.

  • Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

  • Provide regular updates and insights to the executive team on market conditions and revenue performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CRO, VP of Sales, or similar role in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
  • Demonstrated track record of scaling revenue from $25m+ to $100m+ ARR.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and credit risk solutions is a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.

Package: Base Salary + OTE + Bonus + Share Options

Location: New York (hybrid model)
