Chief Operating Officer - Fast Growth International Media Agency - London

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join a leading media marketing agency. As the COO, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the group (combined £90 million t/o across the UK, USA and France). This includes general operations, data science and insights, people and resource planning, legal, and IT and systems.

The business has a compound annual growth rate of 55% and is undergoing a great deal of change, with the objective of leading towards a trade or private equity transaction in 2027 (subject to suitable macro environment).

You will be a key member of the executive team and will play a vital role in developing and executing the strategic plan. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing team that is focused on delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the agency's operations, including general operations, data science and insights, people and resource planning, legal, and IT and systems.
  • Develop and implement the agency's strategic plan.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team that is focused on delivering exceptional results for clients.
  • Manage the agency's budget and resources.
  • Ensure that the agency complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Represent the agency to external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience as a COO within professional services at COO or Ops Director level.
  • Demonstratable experience of overseeing colleagues to deliver technology change projects.
  • Strong understanding of general operations, data science and insights, people and resource planning, legal, and IT and systems.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Location: London HQ with travel to Los Angeles

Salary: £240,000 - 270,000 + 30% bonus
