Chief Operating Officer | D2C Food & Beverage Startup | London (Hybrid)

The Client

Harmonic is proud to be working will a fast-growth disruptive D2C Food & Beverage start up that is looking to bring in a Chief Operations Officer into its team.

This company focuses on providing food and drinks that are highly nutritious and include natural ingredients. The company has a mission to make healthy food affordable and accessible to its consumers and has many different food and drink options. The business has raised over £100 million in funding and is currently scaling and not only ships to UK companies but over 50 different countries.

This business offices are based in a popular London town and although the company has experienced intense growth over the years - it still maintains a reputation for being extremely mission focused and values led.

The Role:

This is a very exciting opportunity to come into a growing business in a key leadership role to help scale the operations team. Working with the founder directly, this candidate must be able to show strong leadership skills alongside a great strategic mind looking into future endeavours.

Duties:

• Create, Develop and implement new strategic plans that matches with the companies' goals of scaling into new countries.
• Manage end-to-end global supply chain.
• Help to build a team that will support the operations plans including recruiting and developing.
• Work cross functionally with the procurement team.
• Develop performance plans along with KPI's.
• Exposure to work with the founders directly.
• Work cross functionally with the other C-Suite leaders within the business.
• Manage and oversee the imports/ exports of all materials and goods.
• Build for the future and identify new opportunities within the operations system.

Essential Experience (what our client would like to see):

• 6 + years of experience in operations/supply chain management
• Experience in FMCG operations
• Analytical with strong excel skills and data driven.

Non-Essential Experience (What we would like to see):

• Startup experience.
• Experience in building out processes and systems.
• Experience in FMGC/F&B/Retail/Consumer Goods.

Salary: £130,000 - £160,000 + bonus + equity
