Harmonic are delighted to be recruiting for a well-established music management company based in London to find a Business Affairs Co-ordinator.

The Company:

The business is home to a roster of some of the world's biggest names in music. The working environment is very friendly and collaborative, the team are sociable and enjoy hanging out with each other. They are looking for someone who has a keen interest in the music industry and gaining exposure into the behind the scenes business affairs in an Artist Management company. This represents a great opportunity to gain a true insight into the legal aspects of the careers of artists from the management perspective.

The Role:

This is a newly created role for the company, as part of a long-term plan of scaling the team. The Business Affairs Co-ordinator will be supporting the Business Affairs Manager with general duties.

This represents a unique chance for effective training and career progression, the Business Affairs Manager will be very hands on with mentoring and development. The team are also wanting to train and progress someone through the business. You will be provided with support in learning about the legal and administrative side of musical artist management (merchandise, tours, contracts and royalties).

Duties:

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Assisting with the preparation of contracts for the Artists
  • Liaising and communicating with Royalties Collection Societies (PPL/PRS)
  • Royalties Administrative work
  • Liaising with Agents, Lawyers and Accountants
  • Generating legal database for publishing and recording deals
  • Co-ordinating, signing and finalising agreements

What we need to see (essential):

  • Great communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with Royalties (Publishing, Music, TV/Film, Media)
  • Strong organisational skills

What we'd like to see:

  • Deep knowledge of both Royalty administration and Music artist contracts.

Salary:£35,000 - £40,000
